Video, textile-piece (embroidered moss, wool and blood on cloth), deer-antler and -leather

Site-specific installation in the small swedish town of Gislaved, exhibited at Gislaveds Konsthall (May-August 2025) as part of an Erasmus exchange semester at HDK Valand in Gothenburg.

The installation explores forms of resistance against patriarchy, climate catastrophe, the leather industry in Gislaved, and mental health from the perspective of a deer, inspired by local myths.

In a video- and textile-installation, a woman armed with antlers transforms into a symbol of both threat and protection, ultimately choosing rest over violence. From a non-human perspective, the work invites us to consider gentleness and vulnerability as a radical, non-patriarchal response to destruction.
